BIC, Business Innovation Centre

In the Czech and Slovak Republic, several independant Business Innovation Centres have been established. The European Business and Innovation Centres Network in Brussels has organised various preparatory courses for managers and staff members of those BICs.

Within the framework of the Dutch PSO-programme, a project was developed and executed for setting up a BIC in the region of Pilsen. A large team of consultants co-operated on this project from the Twente University of Technology, TSM Business School and Business and Technology Centre Twente. During a period of two years, the project provided to BIC Pilsen continuous transfer of knowledge in the fields of business planning, internal organisation, marketing management, services and training for SMEs, personnel affairs, financing and sponsoring, and bookkeeping/accountancy.
